Early Spring, Early Sunset

I had the day off today, and when I opened the back door in the morning, it was over sixty degrees outside, with the last of the winter's snow slowly shrinking in the sun. So after all my errands and home improvement tasks were done, I headed out with the dogs.

The weather might have felt like springtime, but the sunset came right on time for a February day, so my late afternoon hike ended up just catching the last hour of light. I love it when I can line up the Golden Hour with the Golden Retriever Hour, and I played around a little with some creative lighting and ever-cooperative dogs.

But mostly we're there for a chance to be outside and to enjoy whatever the season throws at us.
